Lateral Ankle Instability/Peroneal Tendinitis

This orthosis is designed to reduce excessive supinatory forces that can lead to lateral ankle instability.

The Lateral Ankle Instability device has a milled polypropylene shell with the following prescription:

  • Heel cup – 14mm
  • Width – wide
  • Cast fill – standard
  • Rearfoot post material – polypropylene with no lateral bevel
  • Rearfoot post motion – 0/0
  • Topcover – black EVA to toes
  • Forefoot extension – 3° valgus
